Rip Off Those Stupid Masks & Burn Them
Over a year has gone by since we just needed to shelter in place for “two weeks to flatten the curve.” Doomsday apocalyptic predictions, like the return of the Black Plague, or the flu pandemic of 1918 and massive numbers of deaths never happened.
People in nursing homes and assisted living homes have literally been held captive, at least back home in Hellinois (A cross between Illinois and Hell). They haven’t been allowed visitors and haven’t been able to leave the facility in over a year!
Kids are depressed. Adults are depressed at all the year long lockdowns. Suicide rates are up since the lockdowns. You couldn’t go to a sporting event. Kids couldn’t play sports. Many kids couldn’t even go to school. Graduation parties were cancelled. You couldn’t eat at your favorite restaurant. You couldn’t go to a movie, theme park, and even city parks had caution tape around the swings and slides! Public bathrooms have been locked up in many gas stations and in parks. Where are people supposed to do their business?
Instead of the freedoms we have enjoyed for over two hundred years we are treated like cattle or sheep, made to wear masks, and businesses have been closed down. Have you seen the pictures of ear tags some women are wearing (by choice) that proudly show they are vaccinated? Literally like a cow! Though fact checking sites say this isn’t real, I wonder.
A drunk guy at the Knox County Fair (IL) when I was a kid said something I have quoted for over 50 years now. “People are dumber than mules.”
Some have even tried (Bill Gates for one) to require a vaccination passport or not allow travel! According to the New York Times, “Coming Soon: The ‘Vaccine Passport’ In the near future, travel may require digital documentation showing that passengers have been vaccinated or tested for the coronavirus.”
Even though the pandemic or “plandemic,”as it has been called by some, is pretty much over, I still see people driving their cars alone wearing their masks. Some people jogging outdoors alone are still wearing their masks! You can’t make this stuff up folks.
Pastor John MacArthur quoted a recent Centers for Disease Control report that only 6% of U.S. deaths attributed to COVID-19 listed the virus as the only cause of death; the remaining 94% listed additional underlying health conditions known as “co-morbidities.”

John MacArthur preaches at Grace Community Church on Sunday, Aug. 16, in defiance of a court order on public health.
“I don’t want to offer myself as any kind of an expert, but a rather telling report came out this week, and, for the first time, we heard the truth,” he said in his Aug. 30 sermon. “The CDC … said that, in truth, 6% of the deaths that have occurred can be directly attributable to COVID. 94% cannot. Churches in the US and Canada have been shut down and fined. One church in Alberta was triple fenced and under guard! Their pastor was placed in a maximum security prison. MacArthur’s own church has been fined thousands of dollars each week for continuing to meet, even though there has been no breakout of Covid.
Folks, it is time to come out of our hidey holes and eat at a restaurant, go to a movie, a rodeo, or a ballgame and burn our stupid masks! Life needs to get back to normal, NOW!
Nearly every business blames Covid for their terrible customer service. Products and services have been unavailable for so long. It took me 6 months to get my CDL switched from Hellinois to Arizona because the DOT (for a CDL anyway) was mostly closed, open by appointment only—and you couldn’t make an appointment because their phone messaging system was overwhelmed!
Families have been torn apart because of differences of opinion on the dangers, or lack thereof, from Covid. Some grown kids refused to see their parents for months because they didn’t feel they took Covid seriously enough. Small children (who rarely have much trouble recovering from Covid) have been scared to death that they are likely going to die.
Old people and sick dying people were forced to die all alone due to Covid—even though that may well not have been what they were dying from. People died unnecessarily from heart problems and other serious health issues because they couldn’t get regular health care because of Covid restrictions.
It is time for the madness to end! To quote Richard Rawlings, The Gas Monkey, take that stupid mask and “Let Er Rip Tater Chip.” Let us get back to life before Covid and not fall for such scare tactics and government overreach so easily and quickly again.
It is high time to follow the example of a Utah middle school. “On the last day that his students at Bear River Middle School in Tremonton were required by state law to wear face masks, principal Eldon Petersen decided it was time to mark the milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic — by holding a mask burning.
“We wanted to celebrate the fact that we had endured, and did the best we could to support each other,” Petersen said Friday, shortly after the after-school burning. “We wanted to have a celebration that it had come to an end, and the students felt like they had a little freedom again.”
At 2:40 p.m. Friday, during the last 10 minutes of the school day, Petersen had three barrels set up outside the school. “I gave a little spiel to the kids, to thank them for their cooperation and help and support and endurance,” he said. “Then we had them start burning masks.”
The event, Petersen said, “was very positive and upbeat. We didn’t try to make any political statement out of it at all. That was not our intent. We just wanted a good hygienic way to get rid of those things.”
Petersen added, “Good things come from fire, like hardened steel.”

Burn Baby Burn!
Caveat: Was/Is Covid a real thing? Of course! Did some people die or have serious health problems because of Covid? Absolutely! But, was Covid-19 the death threat of the century? Was it justified to use it as an excuse to shut down the country, putting a lot of businesses out of business, and forcing draconian measures to stomp on our Constitutional freedoms? Absolutely NOT!
